Here is the magnificent 7 that i meant!

1. Coarse Satlt

First of all, maybe this is the most convenient method since most homes have salt. It is important to use coarse salt to be more effective.

The trick is very easy. Sprinkle coarse salt into the clogged sink. Then, pour hot water into the channel. The dirt waste will be dissolved and the sink will resume in an instant!

Remember, use hot water, NOT of boiling water.

2. Dishwasher Detergent

The next step is to use dish washing soap. Use any brand, Sunlight, Joy, Good Maid, or 1Malaysia if you are Malaysiam. You need some of this dishwasher with plenty of hot water, about 2 liters. If you like it, you can heat the water using the pot.

Kitchen sinks are often easily stuck with grease and grease due to food waste. This detergent soap can help dissolve the remnants of this oil and food.

3. Baking Soda & Vineger

The next way is to use baking soda and vinegar. Mix about 1/3 cup of baking soda with 1/3 cup of vinegar in a container. Once this mixture is foaming, quickly pour into the clogged drainage channel. Leave for a brief, about 10 minutes, for a more comprehensive response. Then, rinse with hot water like the above way.

As we know, both of these materials are very useful not just for cooking, but also for washing purposes. So, if you do not have these two ingredients, you can buy and store stocks at home. It makes it easy!

4. Salt & Baking Soda

The next formula is to use salt and baking soda. It’s almost the same as the above, ie, take 1/4 cup baking soda, 1/4 cup of salt and pour it into the clogged sink hole.

Want to be effective, add 1/2 cup of vinegar or lemon water. It would also get rind of the rotten smell!

5. Sink Pump

One of the most classic ways to repair clogged sinks is to use pump or plunger.

But, there’s a way to pump it. The most effective way is to emphasize the plunger in the clogged duct in the sink containing the water. This is because there is pressure from the water that helps attract small pieces in the channel.

6. Drain Snake

In the past, people used to arm armor only for lighter in a clogged sink. If you want to try an easier way, use the drain snake. It looks like a rope made of metal or plastic. Can be bought at DIY store or some RM2 store.

To use it, simply insert one end into the sink. When there is a sense of stuck, turn it several times so that the stuffy stuff can gather. Then, pull it slowly. Then, rinse with hot water. If still clogged, try again several times.

7.  Open the Sink Trap

One of the places to check if the sink is clogged is a trap. Can be seen under the sink, there are S-shaped traps, or bottle traps that are easier to remove. Prepare a bucket under the sink first before you open it, because you will need that bucket.

Open this trap and use the iron wire to push out any residual waste. Wash these traps using a used toothbrush. Then, rinse with water as usual.
